A different take on bringing the outside in 05/05/2010

Most of the time that refers to a nature inspired color palatte or the addition of plants and greenery to a setting. But as more people start using their decks and yards as their summertime living rooms, companies have stepped up to introduce products that are suitable for both indoors and outdoors. These pieces are designed to withstand the elements so they're tough enough to handle the every day wear and tear. They're also a great way to add some interest and texture into your regular decor. Why not use 2 or 3 of those rattan accent tables grouped together in front of a sofa? Or perhaps the arm chair above in the corner of a bedroom? This bench, for instance, which would be perfect in an entry is a fantastic deal at only $129. You could even add some cushions and use it with a small round table pulled up for dining. So next time you're browsing through Home and Garden section, think about how some of those pieces would look inside.
