Surprisingly good-Guess the store 11/04/2009
![]() Leaning shelf, $89 each Millions of marketing dollars are spent every year by companies in an attempt to rebrand themselves into a source for desireable products. Once a company has achieved a reputation as boring, old fashioned or just plain ugly, it can be pretty tough to shake. Another designer had mentioned a surprising resource she had used to get great window treatments for her clients. Lots of options and really well priced. I took a look online to see the drapery and was very pleasantly surprised by their other offerings, too. ![]() Kitchen cart, $199 I found a wide variety of items, similar to what I'd seen in other, more popular stores for a lot less money, The leaning shelves above, for instance, are not Crate and Barrel, though they do have something similar. And this kitchen cart is not from Ballard, though it's very much in their style. ![]() Sofa table, $149 Have you figured out who the company is yet? It's JCPenney. I know! I was surprised at first, too. There are still some clunkers, I won't lie, but there are also a lot of relevant and stylish items available--at some really good prices.
